Coming to Cinemapolis his Sunday at 2pm, the story of a young boy and the horse who loves him: “The Black Stallion” (1979) starring Kelly Reno, Mickey Rooney, and Teri Garr. Common Sense Media gives this move 5 stars, and film critic Pauline Kael said it “may be the greatest children’s movie ever made.” Tickets are just $2 for kids, $3 for adults, with a maximum charge of $10 per family. “The Black Stallion” plays Sunday September 16th at 2PM at Cinemapolis, 120 E Green Street in downtown Ithaca, just south of the Commons.
